During the pandemic, Mikaela was criticized on social media for taking a stance on social issues. She was told her place was to “stick to skiing”.
Adidas wanted to share a powerful message from Mikaela. Our team set out and captured a short piece about what it took to be an elite athlete fighting off the countless strains COVID caused.
We only had six hours with Mikaela for three total scenes. The team at Triage had to set and dress three completely different sets at the Westin Hotel in Beaver Creek, Colorado during a day of full operations. This project was not only a creative endeavor, but a logistical feat. The Triage Creative crew of 15 pulled off the shoot without a hitch.
To accomplish this, use of tube lights to highlight the adidas logo. As mentioned above, Triage shot with world-class athlete in three different locations on the same day utilizing multiple expert content creators. Executing complex set design with limited time.
