PRE PRODUCTION COORDINATOR

JOB SUMMARY:
Triage is looking for a full-time Pre-Production Coordinator to join our team. The role of the Pre-Production Coordinator will be to help facilitate production from inception through delivery. The Pre-Production Coordinator will join client status calls, identify primary project goals, and assist with successful execution of every project. The Pre-Production Supervisor shall also anticipate, communicate, and resolve roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent the team from achieving the established goals.
ROLE / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with pre-production scheduling and planning
- Prepare permits and documents requisite for production
- Assist with requesting Certificates of Insurance
- Liaise with clients and agencies in a professional manner on status calls and via email
- Respond in a timely fashion to client communications
- Maintain database of short-term employees and independent contractors including but not limited to Post Producers, VFX artists, Editors, Assistant Editors; assist in identifying talent best suited to project
- Motivate and support post team to ensure project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved
- Identify primary project goals and design a plan for successful production execution
- Deliver properly labeled files and materials to Lead Producer
- Adhere to accounting processes and utilize invoice templates
- Support Lead Producer in all aspects of production
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years in the entertainment and advertising editorial business in a project management and/or client services role
- Highly proficient in all aspects of production from inception through completion
- Ability to provide creative feedback
- Excellent communication skills; excels in client services and team leadership
- Calm and deliberate demeanor within a highly dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work long hours and on occasional weekends
