FULL CIRCLE

PATAGONIA, CHILE

Triage Creative’s very own, Eric Roepke set off with a small crew to attempt a ski descent of Corcovado. The goal was to share a meaningful short documentary that inspired another generation of adventurers.

CAMPAIGN

CONCEPT

Erich wanted to re-create an adventure that inspired him when he was younger. A journey from America to Chile. Climbing, skiing, and surfing all along the way with an end goal of climbing and skiing Corcovado.

CREATIVE

INSIGHT

When Triage Creative’s one and only Erich Roepke was a kid, he saw the film 180 South, the story of Jeff Johnson and a group of climbers who travel their way to Chile, climbing and surfing along the way. At the end of the film, Jeff attempted to climb Corcovado, a rarely summited volcano in Chilean Patagonia. The film inspired his entire way of life, and made him want to be a photographer and a storyteller. 10 years after the launch of 180 South, Erich set off his a small crew to attempt a ski descent of Corcovado. The goal was to share a meaningful short documentary that inspired another generation of adventurers.

PRODUCTION

EXECUTION

The goal of the project was to create a story that resonated with the next generation of young adventurous spirits. Many of this next generation who have seen 180 South, decided to live more adventurous lives. The team decided the best way to do this was a short documentary, then a series of editorial photography that would be able to share with a larger audience.
